Final Fantasy XV: The Plot of the Game
The game shows the fate of Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum. He comes from a family that has long ruled the small but highly developed city-state of Lucis. The city is powered by a powerful crystal that guarantees prosperity. This crystal has become the target of the hostile Niflheim Empire, which controls almost the entire continent. It is Niflheim that insidiously destroys the capital of Lucis – the Insomnia. For this reason, Prince Noctis and the following friends:
- Gladiolus Amicitia (the hero’s bodyguard),
- Ignis Stupeo Scientia (royal adviser) and
- Prompto Argentum (a childhood friend)
decide to reach the city of Altissia, where the Prince was to meet his betrothed. This marriage would seal the treaty between Niflheim and Lucis. The events, however, force the four friends to flee from the Imperial soldiers, and as a result but also experience various adventures.
The world of the game can be seen from the third or first-person perspectives (the choice is up to the player). It is worth noting that the exploration of the world takes place in real time. The combat system itself is not turn-based but pure action – there are no battles or duels played in separate arenas. In Final Fantasy XV, the player controls only one hero. During the game, the hero is accompanied by three friends and other NPCs from time to time.
Prince Noctis has many interesting special skills, he can also do magic and use magical swords (sometimes as shields). This character can also teleport over short distances, thanks to which he surprises the enemy and reaches inaccessible locations. The player can make complicated attacks and use combos. The hero also receives help from the Archaean (powerful creatures). You explore the world of the game by traveling by car, which can be driven manually or by autopilot.
During your adventure, you can perform additional quests and look for hidden secrets. FF XV also uses a cycle of day and night which affects the behavior of wild beasts. The heroes can regain their strength thanks to prepared meals. The meal ingredients can also provide bonuses for defense or attack. The DLC Final Fantasy XV: Comrades, which is part of Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, allows you to play in a multiplayer cooperative mode (with up to four people). This option allows you to create your own hero, who along with others will accept such missions as defeating specific creatures, defending the position, or escorting a target.
