Wow! I am late to the part when it comes to this series so Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! It is actually my first taste of this what is best described as part Overcooked and part post-apocalyptic world game! if you want a fun, frantic and at times stressful experience this is the game for you. It is worth noting that as of writing, this is in early access.

The Game Review
What first grabbed my attention was the story. This is a game set in the near future after a war has decimated the country! Two robots take a liking to you and decide to let you use their food truck so you can enter and try and win a cooking competition. Along the way, you fine-tune your cooking skills by serving tons of ungrateful and jerk customers. The premise for this game is awesome and makes me wonder what I missed with the other two games!
The presentation of the game is quite good. I have played the Overcooked games to death and never once felt hungry when doing so. Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! On the other hand, is a game that always made me feel hungry! The reason for this is that the food here legit looks good enough for you to eat.
The main aspect of the game is all about cooking. You will have many different orders to complete and your customers are not exactly patient! The actual cooking aspect of the game is easy to figure out, but hard to master and I like that. For example, you may have something simple like a bowl of cereal with some fruit to make.
The next order could be some really over the top and crazy dish that requires far more work. I played the game using an Xbox One controller and this worked very well. For example, when making strips of chicken one button would get the chicken, another would dunk them in the fryer and so on. Each ingredient or action clearly has the button that does it next to it.
As you have probably guessed as you progress down the highways of the USA and the game, in general, it gets much harder. The orders become more complex and you have rivals that want to run out of business and off the road. You can get upgrades for your truck such as adding more prep stations and so on. There is a nice amount of progression here and it always feels fair.
If you were to watch a video of Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! You may think it looks like a fun and easy game. It is certainly a fun game, but it is far from easy! This is one heck of a challenging game that can make you feel great one minute and then a couple of bad orders later have you crying! It is well worth a look if you like fast-paced and challenging games.
