Train Sim World is a train simulation game published and developed by Dovetail Games. The game was initially released on 16th March 2017 and is available to play on the platforms of PS4, Xbox One, Windows 10, and SteamOS. Train Sim World features an environment where players get to experience the system of trains in real-time. The main aim of the game is for players to control the trains and reach the given destinations on time.

The Game Review
Train Sim World is a first-person game which, so far, only offers a single-player mode for its players. The game features an open-world environment which enables players to experience the operations of powerful and lifelike trains. Offering a wide gameplay experience, Train Sim world allows the player to choose from a range of positions such as the driver, the passenger, and the technician.
As a driver, the players are in control of all the main system that happens at the front in a sequence. Players have the option to completely operate the train as they please through all the buttons and maneuvers that are present in the driver’s room which can be toggled.
All the tasks are done in a proper sequence such as the players first begin by locking all the doors and making sure that the passengers have arrived. They then have to change gears from neutral to forward as well switching the brakes to running. Once all the adjustments are made, players can toggle on the throttle bar which makes the train move forward.
At the same time, there are added features as a driver that are controllable such as the inside-train temperature, turning the lights on and off both inside and outside the train, toggling the vipers present at the front window of the train.
As a train engineer, players have the opportunity to control the events happening at behind the scenes such as the independent brakes, honking the train horn, and looking out for hazards. As a passenger, players can simply take part in a luxurious train by simply enjoying the view and the overall environment.
The game offers numerous missions that are based on different trains and scenarios. Before the actual gameplay, it is highly recommended for players to take the tutorial sessions so that they can familiarize themselves with the controls and the layout around them.
Once the tutorials are complete, different missions can be played which requires players to perform different tasks such as shipping coals or other items from one station to another, controlling the train such that it can reach its stop on time, or picking up passengers and traveling in extreme conditions which require players to toggle different maneuvers in order to travel through the extreme weather.
Overall, Train Sim World is the perfect game made for anyone who has an interest in trains and how the whole system works. The game allows players to observe and control the trains from all aspects as they in control throughout the journey. The game is fun, interesting, and very complex, making it definitely worth a play especially for all the train lovers out there.
