Two of my favorite games to play online with my friends are Overwatch and Call of Duty. While I love these games and I am “ok” at them, I am far from being a great player. Well, thanks to Aim Lab I can hand on heart say that I am a much better player, this is especially true in regards to Overwatch.

The Program Review
This is not a “game” this is a piece of training software that according to the most recent STEAM page update is only 40 percent complete! Even in the early access stage, I have benefited immensely from this game. I will be focusing on Overwatch here, but that is just the tip of the iceberg for what Aim Lab offers you.
While I have spent most of my time with this focusing on my Overwatch game. Call of Duty, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG, Rust, Quake, and hundreds, yes hundreds more first and third-person shooters are catered for here. It is truly staggering the way you can select a game and the software will replicate the sensitivity of that game.
It gives you many different “modes” that you can play around with to help you get better. Aim Lab does not just throw up a bunch of targets and then get you to shoot them. It will give you detailed stats that break down each thing you did right and wrong. I found that I move to the left too much when I am in a gunfight.
I played around with this mode where it was not so much the shooting I was doing, but keeping my cursor focused on a certain area. This helped my aim immensely as aiming while moving was something I was horrible at and a major reason I main D.Va in Overwatch! Thanks to this, I have honestly found that my accuracy is so much better.
The spidershot mode is probably what I spent most of my time with. This is all about helping you increase your accuracy. Not only did I find that it helped me be more confident it also helped make me less panicky during a match. I was skeptical I will admit that this software would do anything for me, but it worked and it worked incredibly well.
This also has a map editor that you can play around with too. You can create your own custom maps and scenarios to help you practice. There is a map that looks like Overwatch and I found this very useful. The community is great with making stuff too so no matter what your game is, you will find some kind of map for it here. There is also pretty much every kind of FPS and TPS weapons you could imagine.
I went into Aim Lab not expecting a great deal. I actually thought this was going to be some kind of lame arcade-style shooting gallery, but I could not have been any more wrong. This is a fantastic piece of software, game, or whatever you want to call it. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it is free to play!
